![]() ![]() “ Kerbal Inventory System (KIS)” adds a way to store parts on storage containers and is super useful in conjunction with KAS “ Tarsier Space Technologies (TST)” adds science cameras and telescopes, but is most useful if you have “Research Bodies” “ Kerbal Planetary Base Systems” for surface-base oriented parts “ Kerbal Reusability Expansion” it does what the name suggests “ Airplane Plus” for a plethora of new airplane parts “ Station Parts Expansion Redux” if you want space station parts “ DMagic Orbital Science” for more science parts all the “ Near Future ” expansion packs, (near future electrical, near future construction, near future propulsion and much more) (exclusively parts packs may not follow this rule, it's better to just test and see if it works or hell breaks loose). Everything released afterwards, works on the specified versions. ![]() One rule of thumb that I constantly use is: everything released before 1.7 works till 1.7. OBS: I tried to find the latest KSP forum release of every mod here, but some of them are not as up to date as I'd like. KRASH - Kerbal Ramification Artifical Simulation Hub (simulation mod for KSP) - This allows you for example to simulate a mun lander you've just built, being already in orbit and to try out landing, so that you don't spend time and money going there and then realizing you forgot to add a part or that you need to tweak the design as it's not as easy to land it. It can also stop timewarp if new science can be had.Ĭhatterer - For me it adds a lot to immersion, makes it seem like Kerbals communicate to the Space Center ScienceAlert ReAlerted : Experiment availability - This helps a lot to know when you enter a new biome and you don't know you can run science, also helps not waste experiments. ![]() Considering myself a beginner, here's what I can't play without: ![]()
